Without revealing too much detail, I have demonstrated using purified His-YieP the region of binding within the csgDB intergenic region. :) Stay tuned.

Quick update! Latest EMSA ran with my purified Hex-His-YieP and my probes for the csgDB intergenic region show a clear binding interaction! This supports my hypothesis that YieP is a negative transcriptional regulator. :) Pictures to follow.
